Connections

ESRA will make use of the various user facilities both at the partner national labs and those across the ecosystem. This includes use of the synchrotron facilities (Advanced Photon Source at Argonne and the Advanced Light Source at Berkeley Lab), the nanocenters (the Center for Nanoscale Materials at Argonne and Molecular Foundry at Berkeley Lab), and the Environmental Molecular Science Lab at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). ESRA has integrated scientists from many of these facilities into the research program to ensure seamless collaboration.

Other energy storage connections that ESRA will be working with include the Innovation Center for Battery500 Consortium and Grid Storage Launchpad, both at PNNL.
